
20TH ANNUAL YOUNGBLOOD REUNION HELD AT BLUE EYE
Jeremiah Youngblood was born 22 July 1765 and died 6 December 1814. He and his wife, Susannah Birgit, were the parents of seven sons: James, William,
Ambrose, Jeremiah, Jr., George Bradley, John Fanning and Theodrick Birgit. Six of these sons were represented by descendants at the 20th annual
Youngblood Reunion, held Sept. 6th & 7th, 2003 at Blue Eye, MO, with greetings sent by a descendant of the 7th son.
Saturday included a tour of several cemeteries in the area, which has become a very popular event, while Sunday was spent getting acquainted with new
found cousins and renewing ties with others. Ertie Youngblood gave the Invocation, followed by the potluck dinner enjoyed by all. A silent auction
proved to be a lot of fun, and Dolores King was the winner of a beautiful quilt, made and donated for raffle by Ethel Flippo Gardner.
